Hi, I'm Joman...

I write poems... Not because I planned to, but because I couldn’t not. From the time I was a kid, words just had a way of showing up. They’d pop into my head in the middle of the day, or sneak up on me in the quiet hours of the night. Eventually, I realized poetry was how I make sense of things, the world, people, myself.

I find inspiration in everyday stuff. A night sky full of stars. The buzz of a busy street. A quiet walk. A passing conversation that sticks with you. I'm drawn to the in-between moments. The ones that are easy to miss but somehow say everything. That’s where my poems live.

Writing, for me, isn’t about being deep or complicated. It’s about being real. It’s about capturing a feeling, asking a question, or holding up a small part of life and saying, “Look at this — do you feel it too?”

You won’t find a lot of rules or structure in my work. I write the way things come to me — sometimes clear, sometimes messy, always honest. Some poems are light and playful. Others sit with the heavier stuff. All of them come from a place of curiosity and care.

So welcome. Take your time. Read a few lines. If something makes you smile, or think, or just pause... Then I’ve done my job.
